Hey amiable ladies, how is your new week going? This week's prompt by @brittandjosie got me thinking oo. She wants to know what the ladies do outside hive, hahaha. This is adventurous and here we are 🤩.

Today has been a fruitful day for me so far, I started my day in the kitchen by preparing a yummy 😋 meal for my family, and I. What do you expect a stay-at-home mum to do if not to, first of all, attend to the kitchen duties and ensure that all the members of the family are energized for the day's activities..lolz
The first mission for the day was achieved! So I logged on to my hive account replied to my comments, engaged in people's posts, and posted as well. Next on the list of my today's activities is my training in sewing!
Over the past two months, I enrolled in learning tailoring work.
I aimed to acquire sewing skill and use it for myself and my family and not necessarily sewing for business. This is because I got a sewing machine as a gift when I did my white wedding 8 years ago and seeing the machine being unuseful doesn't make any sense to me. Hence, this pushed me into acquiring this skill. So every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are for acquiring this skill and my tutor is doing just well in lecturing me. It's usually a two-hour training so I can attend to other chores at home.
Today, I learned about drafting a basic bodice for different shapes, though haven't gotten it very right but then, with much practice, I should be able to get good at it🤩
Unlike the manual sewing machine which is more stressful to use, this electrical type makes sewing easier though sewing generally isn't an easy peasy something 🤩🤩. Some time in the last 3 weeks, I nearly quit this training ...hahaha. The calculations involved to sew good clothes aren't for the faint-hearted, hehehe buuuuuttttt, I refuse to give up!! Although getting this training done will take me a long time since I spend only 2 hours on it thrice weekly.
I came back home almost the same time with my kids who went to school. Gosh!!! It was another hectic time for me. Getting them to freshen up, eat and guide them to do their homework took another two and half hours. Finally, I am back to my screen making this post, the time is 6:50 pm Nigeria time now and once I post, I will engage with other people's post as well, take my dinner and call it a wrap for the day, yah!!!💃💃
